On April 19, 2022, the Yonkers City Council held a Real Estate Committee meeting as well as a Rules Committee meeting. All items on both agendas appear below, as well as the decisions taken by the City Council in regard to these items.

Real Estate Committee Meeting Agenda 1.    A Special Ordinance Authorizing an Encroachment In The Right-Of-Way On Huntsbridge Road, Subject to Certain Terms and Conditions. (Moved to Rules Committee Meeting agenda of April 19, 2022)   2.     Presentation on Federal Opportunity zone in Yonkers. Rules Committee Agenda Items for Consideration by Administration      1. Settlement Resolution - $7,500.00 – ELIZABETH TAYLOR - plaintiff allegedly sustained personal injuries when she was struck in the face by the parking gate arm on the upper level of the Government Center Garage parking facility at 87 Nepperhan Avenue. (Fiscal Impact – amount of settlement.) (All Councilmembers.) (Moved to City Council Stated Meeting agenda for April 26, 2022)   As a friendly reminder, although the City Council has resumed its in-person Stated meetings, all Committee meetings, including Rules, will be held virtually for the time being, unless otherwise noted. Tune in via the City Council Facebook page, City Hall TV (accessible via the City of Yonkers website), Optimum channel 78, or Verizon Fios channel 39.
