TWO MOUNT VERNON MEN SENTENCED TO STATE PRISON ON ROBBERY CHARGES.
White Plains, NY – Westchester County District Attorney Miriam E. Rocah announced that two Mount Vernon men were sentenced to state prison on charges connected with a 2020 robbery.
Marcus White, 29, was sentenced on April 1, 2022, to 16 years to life in state prison. White, a persistent violent felony offender, was convicted after trial of three counts of Robbery in the Second Degree, a violent felony. Co-defendant Brian Rivas, 28, a predicate violent felony offender, pled guilty to Attempted Robbery in the Second Degree, a violent felony, and was sentenced to five years in state prison, with five years of post-release supervision.
