STUDENTS INTERESTED IN JOINING GREENBURGH STUDENT NEWS NETWORK INVITED TO FIRST MEETING BY ZOOM - THIS THURSDAY, APRIL 7 AT 4:30 PM.
Greenburgh students interested in participating in our new Greenburgh Student News Network TV show are invited to attend our first meeting this Thursday by zoom Student News Network will be a local produced news show featuring students who will report on local news stories. . We have enlisted the help of some local residents who have had local media and television experience (working for NBC News) who have volunteered to mentor the students who are interested in participating in the program. We have received expressions of interest from a number of highly motivated students who are excited about getting involved.. Students who have not yet volunteered for the SNN initiative are invited to participate. We're looking for reporters, anchors and students who would prefer to work off camera- producers, directors, technical. We expect that the programs will air monthly. We may break up the shows - have different shows for high school students and for younger students interested in journalism. We will invite journalists to periodically speak to the students -giving them their advice and talking about their experiences. This effort is being coordinated by Town Clerk Judith Beville and Supervisor Paul Feiner.
