Dear Friends,

Yesterday, I joined my colleagues in advancing the New York State Senate’s one-house budget resolution. It includes the second year of our commitment to fully fund Foundation Aid, builds on our commitment to universal pre-k outside of New York City, invests in Career and Technical Education, ensures our special education schools get the money they deserve, and recognizes the need to address the social and emotional health of our students. I look forward to sharing more information in the coming weeks as the Senate, Assembly, and Governor's office work to negotiate a final budget
