Representative Adriano Espaillat Applauds Biden Administration Designation of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Afghanistan.  Espaillat Led Congressional Effort Urging Administration to Provide Vital Humanitarian Protections to Afghans.   WASHINGTON, D.C. – Following a letter led by Representative Adriano Espaillat (NY-13), the Biden administration has announced Temporary Protected States (TPS) designation for Afghanistan.  “I applaud the Biden administration for granting TPS for Afghans who are still suffering in the wake of the Taliban taking control of Kabul,” said Rep.
